"On that rainy day"

I have a week vacation from work and so far it’s been really boring, thanks to the not so pleasant weather we’ve been having. I don’t mind the rain, I love it, it’s the feeling of restlessness that’s annoying me. I’m normally off 2 days a week so a whole week shouldn’t be all that different, and yet it’s Tuesday and here I am bored.
It is nice having a few days off, so I shouldn’t really complain — at least I get stuff done like taking care of this site, reading, cleaning, watching all the movies I’ve been meaning to watch… if it had been sunshine and really hot all I’d probably be doing is lay out in the sun all day, so this way I’m at least being more productive, haha.
This evening was quite nice however which resulted in a walk I just got in from. Gonna go grab a cup of tea now and watch a movie before bed. Let’s hope for some sun tomorrow!

New layout, with rotating headers! Refresh to see a new one. I’ll probably add a few more in a few days. My obsession with Twilight has now fully invaded the site.
All the pages such as hostees, past layouts, links & all that and some minor CSS will be updated later — I’m too tired after fixing everything since yesterday. Do you notice how everything’s not itty bitty tiny anymore? Hooyah. I’ve certainly grown tired of that look for layouts.
Let’s hope this means more blogging over here.
Off to enjoy my vacation. Breakfast time!

The past two and a half days my life has revolved around a certain Edward Cullen. I’ve been meaning to read Twilight since last year but never got around to it until now. I’m actually surprised to say I loved it — besides Buffy I’ve never had much interest in anything vampires at all. Perhaps part of why I actually liked this book is because the vampire-ness was a bit subdued in a way and not portrayed like the typical stereotype usually surrounding vampires. It’s a book I’d like to recommend anyway. I’ve already ordered New Moon and Eclipse (2nd & 3rd of the series) and can’t wait until they get here.
As usual, my weeks since last have been mostly filled with work. This past Wednesday however I had dinner at the Stockholm City Hall with my Mom and lots of other people who, like my Mom, were being awarded for working 30 years within the Stockholm Municipality.
It was a great and fun evening and the food was just delicious despite the fact I’m always picky about what I eat, haha.
And now it’s time for yet another week to begin. One week and it’s June. Four weeks and it’s Midsummer. I’m appalled by the speed of time!

I’m sick, again, and so I thought I could waste some time by updating you with some nonsense! Apparently it did take until next month to blog again. What can I say, life just isn’t so eventful at the moment.
Wednesday was Walpurgis Night but instead of doing something fun I was at the doctor during the evening who checked out my throat. But I didn’t even get my medicine, he sent the prescription electronically and when Mom and I got to the pharmacy it wasn’t there. Didn’t bother to check the next day as I felt a wee bit better anyway. At least I didn’t have to waste any money!
Work’s been fine, as usual. I’ve taken three weeks off in July and I’ll be visiting my relatives during the first two. Even booked tickets already. Exciting!
Oh, for you Swedes visiting my site: I’ve opened my new domain locksley.nu. I’ve started blogging in Swedish, yes. All you non-Swedes are welcome to visit too of course, but you probably won’t be able to understand much if anything at all, haha.
I think I’m gonna muster up some energy and go do something productive this Saturday. I’ll check in later in the week as I didn’t have much to say this time.
fall out boy - xo
