The name, and why

Alegría is spanish. It means joy and/or merriment. I wanted a happy name for my site, yet sort of "mysterious", nothing you see everyday. Plus I wanted it to fit with Ellie's domain-name, and Ercoirë it's not a word you see every day. Then what's better than a word from a language which everyone doesn't know, when it even means joy? It was perfect, and I liked it very much too.

How it all began

I've been loads of places on the Internet. I'm not sure if I still remember them all! I started off as many others, on GeoCities. After a while I decided to buy my own domain, and in September 2004 beg-forgiveness.org was launched on the net. After a year my domain expired, and unfortunately I hadn't got the money to renew it. I was without a site for a short while, and then got hosted by Ashley at girlcalledkill.org, where I got a sub-domain called 67angels. I got tired of having a site after almost a year taking uo Ashley's space and told her to delete my sub-domain. I regret that after less than a week, but I felt like I couldn't ask Ashley to host me again, because that seemed rude to me. Instead I asked Ellie, and here I am.
