Rant on Gossip Girl (spoilers). Reminder: I’m missing entries for NaBloPoMo from the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 7th, 8th, 13th, and 19th (make up 7 entries).
Remember when the show just started out? Either nobody watched the premier, or thought it sucked. I for one, loved the premier. But not too many people did, did they? Well after a lot of buzz the people who didn’t watch the premier or thought the premier sucked, caught up on the episodes.
I’m assuming they saw the latest episodes, and in their opinion probably liked it more than the premier. Now they absolutly love the show! While I absolutly hate the direction it’s going in. Why is it that we all can’t get along?
The latest episodes have been so unrealistic, the show is nothing compared to Josh Schwartz’s The OC. In comparison it falters. In the latest episode: Seventeen Candles, there were awkward conversations, no excitement, and no plot lines. It was just very messy and all-over the place, covering all the unessacery corners.
The pairings are unfavorable. Chuck & Blair? Dan & Serena? Rufus & Alison? Bart & Lily? Nate & Jenny? All of these are doomed and screwed. [/end]Â
Have you ever read the book series that the TV show is based on?
Never seen the show, but frankly never wanted to. I heard it was like the OC and I couldn’t stand the poor soap opera acting on that show. No offense.
